I think this will pretty much be the future of restaurants in Kuwait, I can already imagine Slider Station adapting this technique but instead of sushi rolls it’s going to be sliders. The restaurant even has a gamification system that lets you win random prizes the more you eat, now that’s something new.
Thumbs up to Adida’s marketing department. Pop up stores have been trending but Adidas took it up a notch by making a pop up store from a huge shoe box. I love how some shoe lace is popping out of the box, so you shouldn’t confuse this huge shoe box for something else. The only pop up store I can’t think of that would happen in Kuwait are unfortunately cupcake stores.
Kuwait is very social online, it is the most country with tweets tweeted by a big margin between Arab countries. To see how social we are I decided to let this red balloon flout until someone finds and instagrams or tweets it with the hashtag #redballoon. I’m going to try to let go of one balloon every day until someone uses it, I wonder how long this will last.
I think the concept of a self rescue bracelet is nothing short of genius. This probably could have saved most people from the titanic. When the bracelet is pulled the compressed air inside starts expanding. Which will then grow enough to have enough air to make you float, it rests around your arm. This should totally become a kickstarter.[Source]
As much as you’d like to think this is a joke, it’s not. Design student Frederic Schwab thinks a camel is the best means of travel in the rough dessert. Additional straps on the camel would contain medical supplies as well as being equipped with GPS navigation. My only problem is with critical injuries, the person would be dead by the time they reach a hospital.
If I had a motorcycle I would definitely grab one of these, probably the guy in the middle. They are similar to the EARonic idea except cover up most of the face. They were designed by Igor Mitin and were one of 20 idea’s that won the red dot award for design concepts. There were some other cool concepts but this one was my favourite.
