I’m sure like many others on the given situation of the footage below, there’s a good chance of getting a heart attack. I have no idea how this guy a few meters away from the huge shark managed to keep his calm and not react other than to record the video. The shark looked pretty hungry to me.
Even though I rarely drink soda and never drink Coca Cola, this video bought a genuine smile to my face. You often see these abnormal machines that ask you to yawn or exercise to get a beverage somewhere in the west but this time Coca Cola put a special booth in UAE. It would let you conduct a free 3 minute call for a bottle cap. I want a booth that serves cookies for every smile.
This is a really cool effect where you have 6 GoPro’s mounted (I assume vertically with each camera facing outward so they wouldn’t capture a pole in the middle) to give you a 3D effect of you rotating earth. In Kuwait, GoPros are for selfies, lets find a better use for them, it would be cool to have a local commercial with this effect. For more details on how he pulled it off click [here].
The video producer was a bit harsh calling the video iDiots but it depicts a situation many of us live in. Many of us love our phone, until the newer one is announced that is. Then we throw the old one and get the new one, even though the one we threw is functioning normally without any flaws.
Many of us never stop to appreciate that of which we take for granted, like flawless speech. This kid has had a stammer his entire life and he felt miserable about it. I watched the entire episode and at one point he mentioned the stammer made him feel like an idiot. Coincidentally his teacher watched the The King’s Speech and asked him to try the same technique he used. He did a speech at the last day of school and people fell to tears.
On a side note, I spotted this hijab in the video. I thought hijabs got out of hand in Kuwait but I guess it’s a worldwide thing, each country with it’s different inflated supersized hijab. Her face is drawn on because it was the last day of school and I guess her friends wished her the best of luck, on her face.
I stumbled upon this interesting documentary done by the Canadian Tv station eqhd about how teams from all over the world came to Kuwait to help save oil resources and reduce pollution after most of the oil wells had a massive fire. The footage is in high-definition and I’ve never seen any of it before.
If you ever wondered what’s it like to jump off a building this video should answer your question. It gave me a last second adrenaline rush. I can confirm the video was computer generated so no one was harmed. Probably took forever to render. All they need to do now is take this amazing CGI and make a game out of it.
Augmented Reality is viewing physical, real-world environment whose elements are computer generated. Whats makes this technology unique is how realistic is looks. National Geographic gave the opportunity for people to interact live with dinosaurs and other elements giving the feel of realism. I wish to see this technology in Kuwait one day.
