It’s very intriguing how the way you see something can be seen as the exact opposite in some else’s eyes. The next time you buy a cartoon for your kid, think about what will he remember 10 and 20 years from today. More importantly think about what will his subconscious mind store. Some cartoons only look pretty, but send dreadful messages to children.
I remember an episode of Goofy where he use to smoke heavily. I can still reenact the scene where the second he woke up he’d instantly grab a cigarette to smoke so he can relax. Today as I recall, I have no idea what on earth were they thinking making those types of episodes for kids. Just imagine how strong of an impression this will leave on a child.
