Who wouldn’t enjoy watching a geek flourish to become the worlds youngest billionaire. A few years back I browsed wiki and started reading Mark Zuckerbergs story on how Facebook started. It was so intriguing I spent a while just sitting there and searching for more information. Although I’ve noticed what they didn’t include in the movie. The twins did eventually create the website ConnectU but with Facebook as their competitor, they had no chance.
A fact I found very ironic. Jesse Eisenberg is the main actor who acted as the founder of Facebook. Well he doesn’t even have a Facebook account. Coding ? His clueless there too, they bought a computer consultant to give him computer classes but it was useless, so he just learned coding phonetically.
Yes you only see one of them for a very good reason. There is only one in real life, he acted as both Cameron Winklevoss and Tyler Winklevoss. What made you never feel that they might be acted by the same person was how the director made one talk and the other finish the sentence, distinguishing them from each other. Just like when they first met Mark, how they would finish each others sentences. In real life his quite cocky. He recently just got married and said “I was always the guy who thought I’d never get married because, There’s never going to be one woman worth giving up all the others”.
I should start offering stories to directors because this is the second story I have read about that soon enough was made a movie. The first story I read was a documentary about a bunch of MIT students who were everything I was not in math, smart. They then made a team that included one of the universities professors all in private closed doors and came up with an equation that would help them blackjack their way through casino’s. It was a very interesting documentary, which was then made a movie out of, 21.
