2.86 Million Sick Leaves Taken in a Year
Kuwait Times reported there were 2.86 million sick leaves during the fiscal year of 2011 – 2012. In total it costed the country a shocking KD 41,725,960. I could spend all day thinking of what I can do with that money, buying a few islands for starters. Heard there was a hospital in Manguf that sells sick leaves papers to prove to your company you were really sick.[Source]
Don’t count on Kuwait Times being a reliable source bro. If they don’t cite their news from another credible source, I suggest you ignore it.
Despite them being accurate or not, I’m pretty sure they’re not too far from the truth.
