For those who have no idea how big a lion’s tooth is, here’s an example. Exotic pets like lions and cheetahs are banned from households in Kuwait and rightfully so. They are predators, they kill to survive. A Kuwaiti lion pet owner had his maid attacked by his lion after it apparently escaped from its cage.
There are horrific photos that have been showed of the Filipino woman and she literally had holes in her body from the attack. They took her to the hospital and the hospital discharged her, she kept suffering so they took her back where she died inside the hospital. My question is, if it were that lion owner’s son who was attacked, would he have accepted his son being discharged from hospital with all the bruises and blood loss, I wouldn’t think so.
How many have to suffer or even die for the government to start clamping down on residents with exotic pets. I thought when a lion was caught on the loose in Bayan last year, that was enough to take things seriously, but apparently that was just the tip of the iceberg.[Source]
