I’ve always wanted to try a Kuwaiti Cuisine in order for me to compare it to home made food. We were impressed by the traditional interior of the place but surprised to find out the menu offers Lebanese and Indian food along with the Kuwaiti food. You would find stuff like Hommus and Taboola on the menu. We went ahead and ordered traditional Kuwaiti food.
We started off with some Kebbah Potato (كبه بطاط ) and Yoghurt with Cucumber. The potatoes were probably the best thing I ate there because after that everything was okay. The yoghurt with cucumber tasted like any other yoghurt with cucumber, nothing special there.
The Em6abag Zbaidey (مطبق زبيدي) wasn’t that bad. I would definitely go for home made over this but if you’re outdoor and craving zbaidey this is always an option. I liked they way they were served, each dish came in a traditional Kuwaiti pot.
My friend ordered the Beef Beryani (برياني لحم) which tasted decent as well. He did mention later on that his stomach started acting up but I’m hoping it wasn’t because of this meal. The total was around 12KD. You can check out the interior design in the gallery. There’s a lot to look at while you are there.
