After a long struggle with Gulfnet due to their new regulations about the speed cap they have recenetly implemented. I decided to switch my internet service provider to KEMS. And so far my experience has been nothing short of great. When you subscribe, they estimate a week to put their jumper and finish all the procedures. So KEMS started my subscription on the 12th of March. Yet my internet was enabled four days before that.
What I like about their internet apart from it being at a stable speed with no speed caps is their upload speed. I subscribed to a 2MB download speed and got 1.5MB upload speed which is much more than any other ISP I have dealt with. This is also great for gamers as upload speed matters a lot since you will be constantly sending packets to the server.
Of course I no longer have to wait for YouTube to buffer in torment like I did when I was with Gulfnet. I screen shot a speed test and ping test but unfortunately my upload speed wasn’t that fast since the line quality in the place I reside in is weak. I was hoping for at least 1MB but I have to deal with what I have. I tried KEMS’s speed test but it’s apparently bugged as my upload speed went crazy at around 27MB. If you have any questions feel free to ask away.
Update: I’ve posted a follow-up, recently KEMS hasn’t been stable.[Link]
