Review: Triangle
I was invited awhile ago to review Triangle’ Restaurant. At first I thought it was a franchise but when I sat with the owner he explained how they spent so much time thinking of how to open a restaurant that’s different. So they came up with having almost everything look like a triangle, a concept that I loved. Even their burgers were triangle-shaped.
I had initially underestimated the size of their salads. It seems all restaurants are switching to salads with big portions. I think it’s because of people having more awareness about being healthy so some just want to eat a salad. I had the Rocca Salad with a triangle’d crunchy biscuit, sun-dried tomato and balsamic dressing.
I’m not a Chicken Wings fan, I only attempt to eat them when someone else orders them but these were way better than I expected. For once I saw myself eating them one after the other. I highly recommend their boneless chicken wings (aka T Wings) that are covered in spicy buffalo sauce. I hope the taste is persistent so I can have it next time I pass by as well.
Not a lot of places in Kuwait make a really good Philly Chicken Sandwich and unfortunately this place wasn’t the top but the sandwich was pretty good. I love how all their sandwiches including their sliders come in a form of a triangle. If you ever visit you’ll notice a lot the furniture itself is in the form of a triangle too.

Their Grilled Tenderloin Beef Steak comes with roasted potato, sautéed vegetable, Triangle’ potato ball and whatever sauce you want with it. I think the steak size is above average size but it does look thinner than the average size too. My friend had the steak and he thought it was good, so this one is recommended for the steak lovers.
After all the food came the Heavenly Nutella, I don’t think this dessert is currently available on the menu but you can ask for it. It’s like a cake of nutella and biscuit with toast from the inside. This dessert should definitely be ordered with two or more people. Tasted great but would have been even better if there was a layer of ice cream.

Went all the way to Mahboula the other day to try Smoke House Southern BBQ. They have something I’ve been wanting to try for a long time, the camel burger which they call the Hashi Burger. The place is definitely for the BBQ lovers, most of the dishes are either cooked with BBQ sauce or have it on the side.
The nachos was completely plain and for some reason I loved it. You get the tomato sauce with it but because we ordered fried chicken wings we had 5 difference sauces to dip from, since the chicken wings came with 4 sauces. Will probably ask them next time I’m there where they get their nacho supply from.
