I’m sure many of you like me, are big fans of Nescafé’s canned coffee that’s sold in supermarkets. There great for a quick caffeine boost. I went to the supermarket the other day and found illy (the popular Italian coffee brand) is now selling their canned coffee. So I bought a couple instead of my usual Nescafé dose. Turns out they taste the same but cost double. Nescafé is 250 fils per can while illy is 495 fils per can.
I’m the type that goes to coffee shops and orders a Caffè latte or a Cappuccino not knowing the difference. This guide helps you better decide what you get on your next caffeinated visit. Didn’t know the only difference between Espresso and Americano was hot water.
This basket came as a pleasant surprise yesterday because I was not informed of receiving anything from Gloria Jean’s. An Australian based coffee shop I have reviewed previously. It was to celebrate the last 10 days of the Holy Month of Ramathan. The basket had their new French coffee, something I’m looking forward to trying.There are no photos with those IDs or post 6139 does not have any attached images!
Update: Gloria Jeans put up a helpful tutorial showing how to boil the French Coffee, really needed this else would have done it completely wrong.
Gloria Jean’s 19th shop opened in Salmiya, I got an invitation to check it out. Decided to go for breakfast since the weather was encouraging and I had some free time in my hands. I liked the indoor atmosphere and was impressed by their pricing. Their cheaper than my favourite coffee shop Caribou in almost everything. continue reading»
