Two years ago I posted about Co-Ops in Kuwait stopping Kinder Surprise and switching to Kinder Joy. The reasons weren’t clear but Kinder Surprise does pose public healthy risks since a kid may unknowingly choke on the object. I was surprised to find it in Qurtoba C0-Op for a hefty 295 fils. The stock they’re bringing is from Belgium, so it won’t be lasting long.

A while ago I was visiting the local co-op where I found them selling sheep brains, turns out that was nothing compared to what was sold in China. There were also photo’s of turtle and frog cages where you would go pick one up just like how you’d go pick up some waffles.
