An Italian friend that works in Kuwait has finally opened his own pastry shop. To learn how to make authentic Sicilian homemade sweets he actually went back to Sicily, Italy with his wife to take courses on making them. Their pastry shop is called Pasticceria Di Pietro and they had a booth at Qout Market.
For those that don’t know what Cannolis are or haven’t tried one, it’s a” hand-rolled, crispy golden pastry shell filled with homemade fluffy sweet ricotta cream, pistachio and chocolate bits with candied orange peel all made in-house from scratch.” I’m the type that likes a heavy dessert, but cannolis taste great even though they’re kinda light.
Their next stop will be at P2BK and I’ll definitely try to pass by and pick up some more cannolis, I don’t know if they have deliveries right now because they’re so busy getting ready for P2BK. To stay up to date with their events you can follow them on instagram [here].
