One of my favourite burger joints, which I’ve listed on my top 3 burger places in Kuwait is finally expanding, they’re now opening in Salmiya, Gulf Street in a new mall beside Symphony. They haven’t announced it on their channels, I was hoping to find out their opening date, maybe February next year?
During the National Day I went to the shalay but lived at peace for the most part, minded my own business and when walking outside if you give the kids the super serious red eye they don’t spray you. It was a complete mess and I couldn’t imagine what Gulf Street look like. The aftermath is as seen on the photo above.
I tweeted this yesterday, and was informed there was actually a team of volunteers that gathered up the next morning and went ahead to clean all the mess left behind by others. Which is great, but if we keep giving the impression that it’s okay to have fun and leave a mess, expecting someone else to clean after you, we’re not sending the right message.
Here are some more photos of the volunteers cleaning up, it’s a great initiative and hopefully people will start to feel guilty leaving their garbage behind.
I’ve never seen anything like this in Kuwait before, this apparently happened yesterday. You’ll notice a gun pointed at his face, the cops were telling him think about your mom and sisters, and that got him really mad so they changed the subject to have a cigarette and calm down, they asked him if he needed anything, then the video ended. I don’t think he committed suicide.[Source]
As if driving on one wheel at night without looking in front of you wasn’t enough, the guy decides to stand on his moving motorcycle to impress the guys taking the video. Why is this insanity being considered cool, it won’t look as fun when his bike smashes on the car in front that’s hitting hard on the breaks.
