Review: Kuwaiti Deal
Just when I thought I’ve seen it all, another Kuwaiti Monopoly Deal arrives. I think I should make a new category on the blog just for Monopoly Deal reviews. This one comes with some really nice packaging but the cards aren’t plastic wrapped to increase durability like the previous ones I reviewed. I like how the Kuwaiti Towers are part of the design.
The game has 30 new cards in comparison to the original Monopoly Deal but only 4 of those 30 cards did not exist before. The original Monopoly Deal has 106 cards, while the Kuwaiti deal has 136 cards. I put together the new action card list. The deck also comes with 2 blank cards. Guess you can make your own action cards or use them as separators.
New Cards:
- قرض الإسكان: Select one player to pay you 7KD (that’s 7 million)
- إزالة: Select a player to break any full set of property they own and steal one of the properties of that set
- تثمين: Select a player to pay you rent for all complete sets you own
- +1: Play four actions instead of three in your turn
The properties have almost every part of Kuwait covered, except this time they have also added popular streets like the one shown above. As for the currency used it’s Kuwaiti Dinar with 2 stripes. I’m guessing the stripes are there to avoid any possible lawsuits.
Overall the packaging is great, design of cards is the same except for the added new cards. Looking forward to trying the new cards, they change how the game is played a lot. The Kuwaiti Deal is sold for 12KD. You can call for delivery using the number below.
