The guys over at 1minime are making me a small sculpture and I’m really excited to see the final results. So far all I received were the photos above showing the carving of the sculpture is complete, the face looks scary right now because the eye-balls are dark. Once it’s complete I’ll post all the details.
You must see the video before reading the text, because this is kind of a spoiler. I’ve always been a fan of illusions and this guy has managed to have a ton all in one spot. I kind of felt there was something fishy because some objects were out of focus, not sure if that was deliberate. One can read about my favorite illusion so far [here] .
To promote Banta’s new department they asked me to send the blog’s logo. A week later I get a canvas with a huge logo on it. Banta now offers to print large size canvas from 30cm x 30cm upto 100cm x 100cm with the price ranging from KD 12 – KD 30. Similar to Snaprint but on a bigger scale. Happy to see something I designed hung on the wall.
Hoping this carnival won’t be like the rest they’ve had. They use to be mostly booths selling overpriced home made cupcakes or redbull mixes. That’s what I’ve noticed studying there for years. This carnival however looks promosing, it’s about showing your talent in photography, painting, drawing, crafting, designing or knitting. So hoping to see actual talent.
Date: 14th-15th of December
