The guys over at E-Market send a Eton Boost Turbine to review. My first impression was the battery pack was large and only stored 2000 mAh worth of battery juice. Then I found out it was large because it had a hand-powered holder so you can manually charge the battery pack.
According to Eton if you hand-power the battery pack at 2 rotations per second for a minute you’ll get 4 minutes of talk time in exchange. I’m guessing this applies when you have a black and white nokia that barely absorbs any battery. I tried charging it for a few minutes using the turbine but didn’t get much. This charger is best used for emergency, I’d take it with me if I went fishing, to the desert or a trip abroad.
Since the charger holds up to 2000 mAh this means it can fully charge most devices, including iPhones. It can charge and recharge at the same time. The power charger comes with a microUSB so you can charge your Android device. It also charges iOS devices but you have to provide the cable.[Order]
