Well this is interesting, Instagram just posted what future ads will look like. They’ve announced that ads will start showing in the U.S in a few months (later on worldwide). I don’t mind ads, they need to make money to profit and cover costs and I like how they’re going to focus on quality not quantity.
I’m guessing no artwork in ads will be allowed, only actual photos and they have to be somewhat creative. Ads will have a clear “Sponsored” mark on them so users differentiate between what’s an ad and what’s not, plus you can hide an ad and tell instagram why you didn’t like it so they can tailor future ads to be more focus on what interests you.
