I know I’ve been changing my keyboard frequently since the last one I bought was 2 months ago. Only this time I couldn’t resist not buying this keyboard. I hate wireless keyboards in general because I’m not bothered to change their batteries or charge them. But this is the first solar powered wireless keyboard that will never require you to charge it.

According to Logitech this keyboard will work in total darkness for up to 3 months. It also charges with indoor light, so you don’t need sunlight at all. You get a solar application shown above that tells you how much light is absorbed. The keyboard has a sleek super thin design, 1/3 of an inch. Bought it off Bin Khaldoon for 25KD(16KD on Amazon).

Uptill1 posted a cool addicting typing game today. Which was just in time for me to test how comfortable I am with this keyboard. I reached level 30 and just gave up, there was too many stuff to type. Overall all I’m really liking the keyboard except for one flaw.

When you hit Caps Lock or Num Lock it beeps, and the beep can’t be removed at all(hardware limitation). So for gamers that constantly use the Caps Lock button this can get annoying. Shame on Logitech for making something so good with a flaw.

Update: The beeping seems to have gone for now. I downloaded Setpoint and unchecked the beep option but nothing happened. It disappeared later on, I think a restart did the job.
