Review: Peak Design Everyday Backpack 20L
This is my 3rd photography bag and hands down has been the best by far, it’s been designed so ergonomically in a practical way that makes popping a lens out half way through your photography session from a backpack a breeze. Big thanks to AAB World for the gift, something worth reviewing.
The backpack came in just in time for my trip to Germany where I knew I’d be visiting the forest and trying to see what I can photograph. The backpack is packed with features (pun unintended), one of my favourites being there’s a dedicated storage that fits any laptop that’s 15 inches or less.
This really came in handy at the airport, instead of opening the backpack every time and going through everything to pull out my laptop, I would just unzip the laptop zipper and get it out in no time.
In terms of quality built, if felt very sturdy. After coming back, the backpack looks as if I have just bought it. It was built with a place for everything in mind, and offers customization storage options from the inside which are explained into further detail on the video below.
It comes with a magnetic latch for both protection from theft and so that you never open it by mistake and drop something valuable. When it rained during the trip, another feature came to light, the backpack was actually waterproof so you never need to worry about it when it’s raining, you should however, worry about your equipment when it’s heavily raining.
This is the first backpack I own with on-body access, where you don’t have to stop, put the bag down and open it up, get the stuff you need, change the lens, close it again and carry it. You just slide it while you’re still carrying it, unzip get the stuff and you’re done. It makes a big difference in speed and practically.

I mentioned on my last 
Magnet is two floors, the first floor is a nice cafe with good food, but what I will be reviewing is their upstairs workspace. My favourite three things are strongly applied rules on the workspace floor:
They have open tables, in total there are 18 seats, most come with their own charging plugs under the desk. The chairs are comfortable, and I had a 6+ hour study/work marathon with no issues. The difference between this place and the previous place is you have to pay to enter the workspace.
You don’t have to worry about water, there’s lemon infused water, normal water and apples free of charge. Best part is there’s a powerbank station for your phone, you grab one and charge your devices once your done just put it back for it to recharge. I think the powerbanks are for Android users only (sorry iFans).
Overall the food was great, the chairs are comfortable, the place is quiet so I have nothing to complain about. The only con worth mentioning is the food menu is pricier than your average cafe. I normally spend around 6KD on every visit, and that’s just for workspace access + sandwich.
Every Saturday I go to a café to sit for a few hours and study for a course I’m taking. So I decided instead of going to a normal café, why not go for a business café? Business Cafe’s are the new thing in Kuwait. They offer you everything you need, an office desk, power stations, free internet and so on.
Make is located in Olympia Mall 2nd floor, will be right in front of you when you leave the elevator. The place is huge offering different types of seating areas to your liking. They also have a desk with a desktop for rent if you don’t have your gear with you. You also get sea view while you sit which is always a nice bonus.
The café is more of a restaurant, you sit and they will offer you a menu. My biggest problem with this place is it stinks, you can smoke and many people were smoking profusely, was a huge turnoff making me never want to come here again. They have three non-smoking tables outside which is kinda pointless considering the only barrier is a glass door.
Overall the place is great for those that want to go somewhere and do some productive work, don’t mind the stinking smell of smoke everywhere and don’t mind that it can get pretty noisy. I will be passing by Magnet next week, another Business Cafe to try. [
I saw the Muvi X-Drove being promoted and told 
The X-Drone comes with a complete remote-controlled aerial camera system. There’s a grip at the top to connect your phone and live stream what the X-Drone built-in 1080p HD camera is recording. There’s also a button on the controller to take still images that are 16MP.
A nifty feature I love about this drone is its protection system. If you lose control of the drone, or it loses signal to the controller, it will fly up vertically until it is 25 meters higher than the home point and then commence to return to you automatically (granted it has the GPS location saved).
The drone can fly up to 500 meters and comes with a mobile wifi extender that will enable you to live stream the video on your phone from a distance of up to 300 meters. It was a breeze to set up the drone, instructions were simple and it came with auto locking motors.
Although the drone is advertised as a drone that can be used by both beginners and professionals, I highly recommend you have some sort of drone maneuvering/flying experience before considering a drone this size. It’s price is worth the features it comes with and was really fun to fly.

I was worried the watch would be way too big as some of the reviews had mentioned but the size turned out just right. There’s no way to tell this classical watch actually connects to your phone, tracks your footsteps and gives you notifications. Although it’s worth noting there’s no alarm system.
Notifications, how do they even work? The answer is very simple, you download the Fossil Q app on your Android or iOS device, choose which apps you want to get notified about then pick the color you want the watch to glow and how many times should the watch vibrates.
I’ve painstakingly taken photos of some of the colors the watch glows when you get notifications. I have Snapchat glow yellow’ish, instagram glow green, skype glow blue and calls only vibrate the watch without glowing a color. The watch glows from both the left and the right bottom corner.
Overall I’m really happy with the watch so far. The watch isn’t for everyone, if you like keeping your phone on silent, don’t want a watch that you have to charge daily and love the classical look, then this watch is for you. I only need to charge it for an hour or so once a week.
Your first impression after seeing a photo of the Swiftpoint might have been “What on earth is this?”. I had a similar impression when I received one from 
The mouse comes in an ergonomic design. You hold it similar to 
Apart from it’s size and grip, what makes this mouse unique is the fact that it comes with gesture technology. You flip it on the side and move it slightly, this will automatically make the device you’re using recognise it as finger movements. A full video on how that works below.
I’ve been using the mouse for a few weeks and I must say it has increased my productivity at work when on my laptop a lot. The mouse lasts 2 – 4 weeks on every charge and if you run out of battery but need to use it urgently, the first 30 seconds of charge will give you 1 hour.
You get a small mouse pad and a magnetic sticker with the mouse so that you can have your mouse hanging from your laptop when you move. The only issue I’ve found with the mouse is sometimes I’d left click by mistake while using gesture scrolling, its price being 40 KD might be an issue but considering how much productivity you get from the mouse, it can be worth it.
The action camera comes with a box that already has most of what you will need, including traveling equipment like a water protection case that allows you to film up to 100 meters underwater. Since there’s so much stuff in the box, I thought it would be easier just to list everything.
One of my favourite parts about this action camera is that it comes with a colored screen you can attach to the camera. That way you see exactly what you’re recording or taking a photo of, all the photos are fish-eye wide angle photos so they’re great for selfies, even though I’m not fan of selfies.
The action camera also works well if you want to have time-lapse videos. I did a time-lapse video of my 
The wifi feature lets you control the Muvi K2 as well as directly save to your phone any images you want. This feature is useful for the times where you can’t reach the Muvi K2 so the screen would show you what your action camera is seeing, although it was really laggy when I tried it.
Overall I would say the Muvi K2NPNG is worth it for the price point (cheaper than GoPro Hero 4). If you’re looking for a casual action camera, or one to take for trips or even if want to take long hour time lapses, this one works well. But if you’re looking for professional use, the GoPro would probably be a safer option.
Mearmash is an infusion of food from different countries, mostly Lebanese. They sent over food for me to review and so I tried some of their menu. I like that they offer saj shawerma and bread shawerma which has now become a common practice in Kuwait. To order from them through Talabat click [
Unlike your typical shawerma place they serve a unique variety of appetizers such as Cheese Samboosa, Shrimp with Spicy Mayonnaise, Chicken Nuggets, Mozzarella Sticks, Japapeno Bites and a few others.
They also have a combination of salads, I ordered both the Caesar Salad and Fattoush Salad. It’s worth noting although they were pretty good, they were kinda small so those aren’t for sharing. I didn’t think I’d say this but a combination of shawerma and salad went well.
I ordered both Saj Shamera Beef and Saj Shawerma Chicken, then I ordered the normal bread shawerma to compare. The results were clear, I would definitly go for the saj shamwera on my next order. It’s larger, more meat inside, the saj is sometimes crispy and overall tasted great. Photo of the saj chicken shawerma in the gallery below.
To my pleasant surprise they also served Tirmisu and Red Velvet Mousse for dessert. I’ve never had a shawerma and finished it off with Tirmisu before. I would strongly recommend their desserts, which also include Oreo Trifle, Caramel Latte and Chocolate Mousse.
