This question has always popped in my head before. I was thinking at most it’d be a bit more than a day long, something around 26 hours. Little did I know it was nothing close to my assumption. According to Wikipedia, Cinématon is the longest movie of all time. Around 2,000 minutes? 4,000 minutes? Not really, 9,300 minutes is more like it, which is more than 6 days.
I have no idea if anyone on earth including the director himself would be bothered to watch the entire movie. Which of course will take at least 2 weeks and a lot of popcorn. Although I wouldn’t consider it an actual movie because it consists of a series of over 2342 silent vignettes that took 33 years to compose. Their basically shots that are 3 minutes long featuring various celebrities, artists, journalists.[Example]
