The Breakfast Club’s first branch was in Fintas, they were open until 3p.m everday serving breakfast. They’ve now expanded and opened a new branch in Kuwait City a few weeks back, so I passed by to review the place now that they also serve dinner and lunch. I like how they somehow managed to have pancakes as main courses with heavy sauces.
I started of with Cheese Ravioli which is basically cheese with pasta blended with mushroom sauce. Working on the presentation of a dish is a plus for me, It didn’t taste unique but it was nice. Something light to go by if you don’t want to order a dish with meat. It won’t be enough to fill you up so you should have a salad with it or something.
These Mushroom Pancakes I really liked, who would have thought a combination of pancakes with mushroom sauce was good. The upper part is wrapped with bacon but you can ask them to have it without bacon. This one is even lighter than the cheese ravioli so you can have one as an appetizer for two people.
Next up was the beefy burger which was packed from the inside covered with a thick but soft bun. This one is definitely for the burger lovers. It tasted fairly different then a shake shack or an elevation burger not sure if it was because it had different veggies.
Here is where the explosion comes in, red velvet pancakes with Nutella and berries. If there’s any dessert I will crave badly it’s going to be this one. What’s even better is the fact that they have a huge variety of pancake desserts including kinder bueno pancakes.
Something you don’t see in most restaurants, Arabian coffee. After your dessert you can have some Arabian coffee prepared the traditional way. I’m going to go there one day and have pancakes with Arabian coffee, the weirdest combo. Luckily The Breakfast Club is a 5 minute walk from where I work so I’m going to have a lot of pancakes from here on.
