The sandwich shop opened recently in Dar Al-Awadi Complex Shopping Center and I must say I am very impressed overall. There aren’t a lot of places open in the complex right now but I’ve passed by some places that are beautifully designed including this one. The concept behind The Sandwich Shop is to offer the freshest sandwiches and meals at low prices.
Though I don’t really know why, I love falafel wraps so I started off with one. All the bread they provide is freshly baked the same day it is served. This wrap only costs 500fils and tastes really good. They also offer mini falafel’s if you just want a few bites.
My friend went for the burger which he recommended. It does look like a home-made burger but has a freshness feel to it. Although they have burgers I do recommend this place for breakfast, they offer pretty much everything in an croissant sandwich.
These two were super delicious, I would urge you to try both the Mini-Feta Cheese and Mini-Halloum sandwich. I also tried their turkey croissant sandwich, suggested by the owner since it was their signature sandwich and even though I don’t really like turkey it was enjoyable.
I can’t stay completely healthy so the fries and onion rings must be present. I might be exaggerating when I say this was the best french fries I ever had but it’s somewhere in that range. The onion rings was good but nowhere as near as how good the fries was.
