As it turns out, the car enables electric driving when turned on, which is really quiet. It’s like driving the car with the engine off, that’s how quiet it is. The idea of the hybrid is to run on electricity while you are driving slow or at a halt in a traffic light for example, but switches to running on fuel when you start speeding.
Lincoln has drastically changed the look of the MKC, it’s something that looks more refreshing and young. To make things clear, Lincoln is a brand by itself, it’s not called Ford Lincoln similar to how you never call a Lexus, Toyota Lexus. The MKC 2015 was one of the cars I enjoyed driving most since it was packed with advanced features.
You get a super wide sunroof which gives the guys at the backseat a great view, I noticed it’s even better when it starts raining. The leg space you get is pretty decent too, never had the feeling where I was squeezed in. The MKC has 5 seats but can fit in 6 people if you have kids.
I must say I thought I was a law-abiding citizen. In the past 2 years I’ve received zero speed tickets. The car has a feature where it will notify whenever you pass the speed limit on a specific road, it tracks all speed limits including roads with a speed limit of 60 km/h. I would at least get 3 notifications per ride telling me I’ve passed the speed limit.Review: GAC Motor GS5
I posted previously about Mutawa Al Kazi acquiring a car brand that’s new to Kuwait, GAC Motor. They’ve now launched two car models, a salon and an SUV and asked if I was interested in reviewing one so I picked the SUV.
GAC Motor is a Chinese automobile maker that also manufactures cars in China for other brands including Fiat, Honda, Mitsubishi, and Toyota. It’s currently the 3rd-largest automaker in China according to what was told to me. To give you a scale of how huge they are, the company manufactured 740,400 vehicles in 2011. Parts used in cars come from all over the world.
My car was up for a major service and the dealer said they’ll need the whole week day (which maxed out to 8 days later). Since it was going to take at least 5 days I rented a A1 2014 to try out. I was so impressed with the ride I wanted to write a review about it. It’s a tiny beast with a roaring engine inside.
Of course its main competitor is the mini cooper. The A1 is larger than the mini but is still pretty small and can fit pretty much anywhere. That’s something I loved driving a tiny car, it’s so easy to find a parking spot. The interior is simple and high in tech. You get a 6.5 inch screen and CD + SD card slot along with an AUX-in socket.
Passed by Ali Alghanim recently to pick up the Phantom Coupe Series II for a review. Let me start this review with letting you guys in on why it’s called 
The first thing I noticed was the size of the car especially since its called a “Coupe” which for normal cars is a smaller 2 door vehicle of the 4 door version, this coupe seemed massive but when I saw the regular Phantom it surely is smaller. I had to think twice before entering a narrow parking building.
Ever since it was introduced in 1958 , the Impala was a top of the line best seller for Chevrolet, it continued as Chevrolet’s most popular full size model through the years, it was considered a muscle car Between 1994 and 1996 when it was powered by the legendary V8 powering the Caprice. it was re-introduced again in the year 2000 as a 4 door sedan, and finally reintroduced as this model I’m reviewing here, the 2014 Impala.
Being a sports car kinda guy, I was excited to review the new 
They wanted to enhance its ride, cornering capabilities, fuel efficiency, power and the fun factor of the earlier Cayman. Well my God they have done just that!
The Crosstour is a crossover car that’s kind of in the middle of the CRV and the Accord. It’s the kind of car you would want and need if you have a family and need a lot of space for people and stuff, but you still want a car but not a truck or an SUV.
The exterior of the car is not very different from earlier models which started back in 2009, but it’s been modified and had a revised exterior with more aerodynamics added to it. The front has more chrome than before and the headlights are as sharp and elegant as ever.
Hopping into the inside of the car, the Crosstour gives you a very luxurious, German car feel, with it’s fine leather seats and wooden dashboards and all the high-tech that was use in it. The car has a Push To Start button in it, 6-speed Automatic Transmission, and manual shift ability via the pedal shifters on the steering wheel.
