I was browsing Ace Hardware the other day and found these DryNow packs that should come in handy if your phone sinks into water. It’s not cheap, KD 5.450 but definitely worth it if it’s going to save your phone, it’s also reusable which is a big bonus. If you’re thinking of just dipping your phone in rice as a solution, well that doesn’t always work.
Couldn’t think of a better way to make students never dare texting in class. I only agree with his technique because it was a hoax to approve a point, he didn’t actually crush that students phone. Best part was “Any questions on texting in class?.” Students were probably sweating throughout the process. My only concern is keeping that huge hammer in class.
My hTC Desire has served me well for the past year and a half but it’s time to move on. I want the dual-core processors, the 8MP cameras and the crystal clear 4.3 inch screen. The best two devices currently out there are Samsung Galaxy SII and hTC Sensation. Both are top notch specifications an iPhone 4 can only dream of.
I’ve been thinking about a decision for a few days. My brain tells me to get the Galasy SII because of its 200MB extra RAM memory which makes a slight difference with smoothness. But my heart tells me to get the hTC Sensation because I’ve had a great expierence with my previous phone and hTC 3.0 comes with some really decent features.
I decided to go with my gut feeling and go with the hTC Sensation.
If you have a friend that can’t lift his eyes of the device, you will find your solution in pleaseshutup.com. It has more than 400 rules to abide by. Which is pretty insane, no one would even bother reading them. What I liked about the site is the exaggerated examples of people using their mobile. You can find the list of them here. Here’s a good example.
