After reviewing a dozen of restaurant throughout the years I think I’ve nailed the secrets of success. Don’t take this post too seriously, as it comes with a grain of salt and a dip of sarcasm. I’ve been meaning to write this post for a very long time but kind of didn’t have the time until now.
1. The Nutella, The Nutella, The Nutella
If you don’t have a dessert with Nutella or at least a huge bar of Nutella on stand then you’re missing out on a big portion of customers. Some guys think of a place to eat in based on the fact that they’ll have a Nutella-full dessert after it. The more Nutella’s you show off, the more people are inclined to eat at your place.
2. A Ceasar Salad is a Must
It doesn’t matter what type of dine-in you are be it Chinese, Italian, Mexican, Arabian or an infusion. Having a Ceasar Salad is a must in Kuwait and I’m not even sure why it’s so craved. I’ve reviewed an Iranian restaurant that had a Ceasar Salad on their menu, just comes to show how they were complying with popular-demand.
3. You Gotta have That ‘Secret Sauce’
The moment you mention your salad or burger has a ‘secret sauce’ or ‘special sauce’, (especially if it’s an homemade secret sauce) then suddenly everyone wants to try it. Just make sure your secret sauce has some ranch or 1000 island sauce in it so people don’t get disappointed. The more secret sauces on the menu the merrier.
There’s no time to waste, go grab all the Nutella jars in the supermarket and have someone work part time sitting at the entrance of your restaurant munching on Nutella all day.
